Ah sleep, how I’ve missed thee

The past few weeks have been pretty rough on the sleeping front for me and although the nightmares have not been as constant as they had been in the past they have still been enough to ensure broken sleep on most nights which isn’t really conducive to functional or refreshing sleeping habits. Fast forward to this week though and it has been considerably rougher; Sunday – Monday 2.5 hours total sleep even though I was trying to get there since 2am and the next day was followed by a whopping 2 hours broken into 1 hour blocks.

Very tired and draining start to the week to say the least.

But last night I crawled into bed at 9:30 planning on doing some meditation continuing on from my time down at the lake after I got home, didn’t even get there I was fast asleep even with my light still on and slept straight through to 5:30am giving me a total of 8 hours and I actually woke feeling refreshed for the first time in awhile.

Just have to do some more writing at some stage, have a couple of poem ideas in my head that have been bugging to get out. And although we are past the hump of the week, I hope that everyone is having a  great week.
